1. Permit and Review

Once your design is complete, we start building. We request engineering and submit a permit application. With the permit, we schedule a pre-site meeting to review the construction project.

2. Layout and Excavate

After the pool is precisely laid out, excavation begins with steel reinforcements put in place. The rough plumbing is installed before the final structure inspection is completed.

3. Gunite Application

The concrete crew pneumatically shoots the concrete with state-of-the-art equipment. This is designed to improve the structural integrity of your pool shell for better long-term results.

4. Grade and Plumb

With the concrete shell in place, the deck area is graded and compacted to reduce concrete cracking. The remainder of the plumbing is installed and pressure tested for leaks.

5. Decking

Our deck crew will form the deck area. Then, we can pour the concrete and apply saw cuts to the deck. When done within 24 hours, this can reduce long-term cracking of your pool deck.

6. Brick and Tile

If you choose to upgrade your pool with coping, we will install it before the concrete is poured. Tile is then installed around the perimeter of the pool at the 6-foot waterline row.

7. Deck Topping

If acrylic decking is chosen, the texture is added to the concrete before the color coat is applied. If pavers are used instead of Flocrete decking, they are laid out by the paver crew.

9. Safety Solutions

We can install an aluminum cage on the decking after we measure the final area. Upon completion of the pool finish, a child barrier fence or alarm system can be installed for safety reasons.
